Refund and cancellation policy

What happens if you need to cancel, what is refunded at each stage of the work, and how quickly the money comes back to you.

1.In short

1.1Every invitation is made to order with your names, wording and photographs, so the amount we refund depends on how much of that work has been done when you cancel.
1.2Cancel before we start and you get everything back. Once you have seen your first draft, the advance covers the work already done.
1.3If we cannot deliver for a reason that is our fault, you get everything back, whatever stage the work has reached.

2.1Write to us on WhatsApp at +91 63544 70563 or by email at suvarnainvites@gmail.com, with the couple's names and the date you placed the order.
2.2Your cancellation takes effect on the day we receive your message. We confirm it in writing and tell you the amount to be refunded.
2.3A phone call alone does not cancel an order, because we need a written record for both of us.

3.1Before we start work on your invitation: the full advance is refunded.
3.2After we start work, but before we send your first draft link: half of the advance is refunded. The other half covers the design and setting work already done.
3.3After we send your first draft link: the advance is not refunded, because the invitation has been made for you and cannot be offered to anyone else.
3.4After you approve the draft: the full price is payable and is not refundable.
3.5For Couture invitations, made from a blank page, the concept stage counts as work started. Once you have approved the written concept, half of the advance is kept if you cancel.

4.1If we cannot deliver your invitation for a reason within our control, we refund everything you have paid, including the advance.
4.2If we miss the delivery time we agreed with you by more than seven days, for a reason that is ours and not caused by waiting for your content or replies, you may cancel and receive a full refund.
4.3If a feature promised in your written quote does not work and we cannot fix it, we refund the part of the price that relates to that feature, or the whole price if the invitation cannot be used.

5.1A change of mind about the design after the draft has been sent. We are happy to discuss changes within your included rounds instead.
5.2Mistakes in names, dates or venues that were in the content you sent or approved. We still correct small errors without charge where we reasonably can.
5.3Guests not opening, receiving or replying to the invitation, or a guest's phone being unable to play sound or video.
5.4Outages of WhatsApp, maps or other services run by other companies.
5.5Add-ons that have already been delivered, such as personalised guest links or a rush delivery.
5.6Content we remove because it is unlawful or infringes someone else's rights, as described in our terms.

6.1Postponed: tell us the new date. We change it on your invitation once without charge and keep the link live until the new date has passed. No refund is due because the invitation is still used.
6.2Called off: the stages above apply according to how far the work had gone. We take the link down as soon as you ask, and delete your content and guest list.
6.3We understand that this is a difficult time. Write to us and we will deal with it quietly and quickly.

7.1Refunds go back to the account or method you paid from: UPI, bank transfer or card.
7.2We send the refund within 10 working days of confirming your cancellation. Your bank may take a few more days to show it.
7.3Charges your own bank or payment provider applied when you paid, such as currency conversion, cannot be returned by us.

8.1Because each invitation is set with your own details, there are no returns or exchanges once it is delivered.
8.2If you would like a different design before the first draft is sent, ask us. We will move your order to the new design and tell you if the price changes.
