Terms and conditions

We have written these in plain language. They cover how ordering, payment, changes, your live link and refunds work, so there are no surprises on either side.

1.About these terms

  1. 1.1These terms are the agreement between you and Suvarna Invites ("we", "us") when you use this website or order an invitation from us. You can reach us at suvarnainvites@gmail.com or on WhatsApp at +91 63544 70563.
  2. 1.2By placing an order or paying an advance, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms. If you are ordering for someone else, such as your child, sibling or client, you confirm that you have their permission to do so and to share their details with us.
  3. 1.3You must be at least 18 years old to place an order.
  4. 1.4If anything we agree with you in writing (including on WhatsApp or email) differs from these terms, what we agreed in writing for your order applies.

2.Words we use

  1. 2.1"Invitation" means the invitation website we make for you, including its design, animation, music, wording and features.
  2. 2.2"Design" means one of the ready designs shown on our website. "Made for You" means an invitation designed from a blank page to your brief.
  3. 2.3"Your content" means everything you give us: names, family details, wording, dates, venues, photos, videos, voice recordings, music and guest names.
  4. 2.4"Draft link" means the private link we send for your review. "Final link" means the link you share with your guests after you approve the draft.
  5. 2.5"Guests" means the people you share the invitation with.

3.Enquiries, quotes and orders

  1. 3.1An enquiry through our website, WhatsApp or email is a request for information. It is not an order and does not commit either of us.
  2. 3.2We reply with a quote that lists the design, what is included, the price and an expected delivery time. A quote is valid for 15 days unless it says otherwise.
  3. 3.3Your order is confirmed when we receive your advance payment and confirm it to you in writing. We may decline an order before confirming it, and if we do, any amount you have paid is returned in full.
  4. 3.4The demos on our website show sample names, dates and venues. Small differences between a demo and your finished invitation are normal, because yours is set with your own content.

4.Prices and payment

  1. 4.1Prices are in Indian rupees unless we quote in another currency. Applicable taxes are added where the law requires, and we will show them on the quote or invoice.
  2. 4.2An advance of 50% of the price is payable to confirm the order. The balance is payable when you approve the draft, before we release the final link.
  3. 4.3We accept payment by UPI, bank transfer and other methods stated on your quote. Charges applied by your bank or payment provider, including currency conversion, are yours to bear.
  4. 4.4If the balance is not paid within 7 days of your approval, we may pause work and withhold the final link until it is paid.
  5. 4.5Launch offer: 50% off the quoted price of any invitation whose order is confirmed, with the advance paid, on or before 18 November 2026. It applies once per order, cannot be combined with other discounts, and does not apply to orders confirmed after that date.
  6. 4.6Work you ask for that is outside the quote, such as extra functions, extra languages, a second edition for the other side of the family, extra rounds of changes or a rush delivery, is charged separately. We tell you the price before we start it.

5.What we need from you

  1. 5.1We can only start once we have your complete content. We will send you a list of what is needed.
  2. 5.2You are responsible for the accuracy of everything you give us, including spellings of names, dates, times, venues, map locations and phone numbers. We set the invitation with exactly what you send.
  3. 5.3You confirm that you have the right to use your content and the consent of the people who appear in it. This includes photographs taken by a professional photographer, who may hold the copyright.
  4. 5.4Music needs particular care. Most film and popular songs are protected by copyright. If you ask us to use a specific song, you confirm that you have the right to use it for this purpose. We may suggest a licensed alternative or decline a track we believe would infringe someone's rights.
  5. 5.5If we do not receive your complete content within 30 days of your order, we may treat the order as on hold. We will restart it when the content arrives, on a new delivery time.
  6. 5.6Please keep your own copies of everything you send. We are not a storage service and are not responsible for the loss of files sent to us.

6.Delivery times

  1. 6.1For a ready design, we aim to send the draft link within two to three working days of receiving your complete content and advance. For Made for You, we aim for two to three weeks after the concept is agreed.
  2. 6.2These are estimates, not guarantees. The time taken depends on how quickly you send content and reply to drafts, and time spent waiting for you is not counted.
  3. 6.3If you need the invitation sooner, ask us before ordering. A rush delivery may be possible for an extra charge.
  4. 6.4We recommend ordering at least four weeks before you plan to send invitations, so there is time for changes.

7.Drafts, changes and approval

  1. 7.1Your price includes 2 rounds of changes for a ready design and 4 rounds for Made for You. A round is one consolidated list of changes sent in a single message after you review a draft.
  2. 7.2Changes means corrections and adjustments to your content: wording, names, dates, venues, photos, music and the order of sections that the design supports.
  3. 7.3Changes do not include redesigning the invitation, switching to a different design, new artwork or animation, or adding features the design does not have. We can quote for these separately.
  4. 7.4Please check the draft carefully before approving, especially names, dates, times and map locations. When you tell us in writing that the draft is approved, the invitation is final.
  5. 7.5We are not responsible for mistakes in content that you approved. After approval we will still correct small errors, such as a spelling or a time, without charge where we reasonably can.
  6. 7.6If a venue, date or time changes after approval, tell us as soon as you can. We update the same link so guests see the new details. One such update is included, and further updates may be charged.

8.Made for You invitations

  1. 8.1We begin with a written concept describing the theme, sections and style. Work on the design starts after you approve the concept.
  2. 8.2A change of concept after approval is treated as a new brief and quoted separately.
  3. 8.3We decide how the concept is carried out as a design, using our own judgement and style. We will listen to your preferences, but we cannot promise a particular artistic result.
  4. 8.4Artwork, illustration and film in our invitations may be created with digital and AI-assisted tools. If you need artwork made in a specific way, tell us before you order.
  5. 8.5When a picture is made with an AI tool, that tool is run by another company and its own terms and privacy policy also apply. It may store the photos, prompts and images it handles, and we cannot control or delete what it keeps. By sending photos for an AI-generated image, you agree to this.

10.Who can see your invitation

  1. 10.1Your invitation is not listed on our website and we ask search engines not to index it. It is not protected by a password unless we have agreed that with you.
  2. 10.2Anyone who has the link can open it and forward it. Please share it only with the people you intend to invite, and think carefully before including home addresses or personal phone numbers.
  3. 10.3We will not show your invitation, names or photos in our collection, advertising or social media unless you give us permission in writing.
  4. 10.4Each invitation carries a small "Made by Suvarna Invites" credit. You can ask us to remove it.

11.RSVP replies and guest details

  1. 11.1Where your invitation collects RSVP replies, the replies belong to you. We hold them only to pass them to you and to keep the feature working.
  2. 11.2You are responsible for telling your guests how their replies will be used and for using their details only for your event.
  3. 11.3If you want each guest greeted by name, you send us a guest list, usually an Excel sheet, with the names and any personal message for each. We use it only to create the personalised links, and return the sheet to you with a link in every row.
  4. 11.4You forward the personalised links yourself. We do not contact your guests. Corrections to names or messages after the links are made count as a round of changes.
  5. 11.5We delete your content, guest list and RSVP replies within 60 days after your link is taken down, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or the law requires us to keep them.
  6. 11.6Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information in more detail.

12.Phones, browsers and sound

  1. 12.1We test each invitation on current versions of common browsers on iPhone and Android phones, tablets and computers.
  2. 12.2We cannot promise identical behaviour on every device. Older phones, outdated browsers, in-app browsers and slow connections may show simpler animation or load more slowly.
  3. 12.3Phones do not allow sound to start by itself. Music and film sound begin after the guest taps the screen, and stay silent if their phone is on silent.
  4. 12.4Opening the invitation uses the guest's mobile data. We keep file sizes as small as the design allows.

13.Who owns what

  1. 13.1Your content remains yours. You give us permission to use it to make, host and show your invitation.
  2. 13.2The designs, artwork, animation, code and the look of our invitations and of this website belong to us or to those who license them to us.
  3. 13.3When you have paid in full, you may use your invitation to invite guests to your event for as long as the link is live. This permission is personal to you and covers that one event.
  4. 13.4You may not copy, download, resell, reuse for another event or pass to another designer or developer any part of our designs or code, and you may not ask anyone else to recreate them.
  5. 13.5We keep the right to offer the same ready design to other customers. A Made for You design is not offered to others as a ready design without your permission, though we may reuse techniques and general ideas.

14.Cancellations and refunds

  1. 14.1You can cancel at any time by writing to us. What is refunded depends on how far the work has gone. Our refund and cancellation policy sets this out in full and forms part of these terms.
  2. 14.2If you cancel before we have started work, we refund your advance in full.
  3. 14.3If you cancel after we have started but before we send the first draft, we keep half of the advance to cover work done and refund the rest.
  4. 14.4Once the first draft link has been sent, the advance is not refundable. Once you have approved the draft, the full price is payable and not refundable.
  5. 14.5If we are unable to deliver your invitation for a reason within our control, we refund everything you have paid.
  6. 14.6Refunds are made to the original payment method within 10 working days of our confirming the cancellation.
  7. 14.7Because each invitation is made to order with your personal details, there is no return or exchange once it is delivered.

15.If your event changes

  1. 15.1If your wedding is postponed, tell us. We will update the date on your invitation once without charge and extend the live period to match the new date.
  2. 15.2If your wedding is cancelled, the cancellation terms above apply according to how far the work has gone. We will take the link down as soon as you ask.

16.Content we will not publish

  1. 16.1We may refuse or remove content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, hateful, or that infringes someone else's rights or privacy.
  2. 16.2We may also refuse an order for an event that would be unlawful, including a marriage that is not permitted by law.
  3. 16.3If we remove content or end an order for these reasons, amounts paid for work already done are not refundable.

17.Using this website

  1. 17.1The names and language you choose on this website are saved in your own browser so that they follow you from page to page. They are not sent to us until you send an enquiry.
  2. 17.2When you use "Send this to the family", the names you typed are included in the link you share, so that the person who opens it sees the same names.
  3. 17.3The demos are for viewing only. You may not copy, scrape, download or reproduce our demos, designs or text, or use automated tools on this website.
  4. 17.4We try to keep the information on this website accurate, but designs, features and prices may change, and a feature shown here may not be available in every design. Your quote states what your invitation includes.

18.Planners, photographers and other partners

  1. 18.1If you order on behalf of your own client, you are our customer and are responsible for payment and for having your client's permission to share their details.
  2. 18.2Referral fees, partner pricing and any use of your branding are agreed separately in writing and do not arise from these terms alone.

19.Our responsibility to you

  1. 19.1We will make your invitation with reasonable care and skill, and as described in your quote.
  2. 19.2We are not responsible for loss caused by: incorrect content that you supplied or approved; delays in receiving your content or replies; guests not receiving, opening or acting on the invitation; outages or changes in third-party services; the guest's device, browser or connection; or anyone sharing the link beyond the people you intended.
  3. 19.3We are not responsible for indirect losses, such as costs of the event itself, loss of enjoyment or distress.
  4. 19.4Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid us for that order.
  5. 19.5Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.

20.Claims about your content

  1. 20.1If someone makes a claim against us because of content you supplied, for example a photographer or music owner claiming their rights were infringed, or a person objecting to the use of their image, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and losses we incur as a result.

21.Events beyond our control

  1. 21.1We are not in breach of these terms if we are delayed or prevented from delivering by something outside our reasonable control, such as illness, power or internet failure, a failure of a hosting provider, natural disaster or government action. We will tell you promptly and agree a new delivery time. If we cannot deliver at all, we refund what you have paid for work not delivered.

22.Changes to these terms

  1. 22.1We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
  2. 22.2The terms that apply to your order are those in force on the day your order was confirmed.

23.Law and disputes

  1. 23.1If you are unhappy with anything, please contact us first. We reply within 48 hours and will try in good faith to put it right.
  2. 23.2These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any rights you have as a consumer, the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute.
  3. 23.3If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
